Square Enix has developed several collectible card games that celebrate its most iconic franchises.
One of the most well-known is the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game (FFTCG), which launched globally in October 2016, a collectible card game that allows players to build decks using characters, summons, and scenarios from the Final Fantasy series. The game offers a variety of cards with different abilities and strategies, making it compelling for fans of the series and card game enthusiasts alike.
Game Modes:
• Deck Building: Each player creates a deck of exactly 50 cards, with up to 3 copies of the same card.
• Objective: Inflict 7 points of damage on the opponent to win the game.
• Card Types: Cards are divided into Forwards (used to attack and defend), Supports (provide resources and abilities), and Summons (immediate effects).
• Crystal Points (CP): Cards are played by spending CP, obtained by "dueling" (rotating) Support cards or discarding cards from the hand.
Is it worth playing?
If you're a fan of Final Fantasy and strategy card games, FFTCG offers a unique experience, with fantastic artwork and a deep system, making it ideal for all players and card collectors.
